“BLEACHELLA ??,” the pop superstar, 26, captioned a shot of herself with platinum blonde tresses. Swift debuted her new look for Coachella 2016, the famed music festival where her boyfriend, Calvin Harris, is performing this weekend in Indio, California.
Fans were first treated to the “Wildest Dreams” singer’s hair transformation on Thursday, when her third Vogue cover was released. The magazine’s editor in chief, Anna Wintour, spoke about Swift’s edgier 'do during a Thursday appearance on the Today show.
"We very much wanted to give Taylor a new look. Make her into a rock 'n' roll chick,” the fashion magnate, 66, said of the Grammy winner’s paler strands. "We love the way she looks. We think she looks young and modern and different.”

The cover girl was equally thrilled about her revamped image. “This is my favorite cover I've ever gotten to be a part of," Swift later wrote on social media.
Wintour, who helms New York City’s annual Met Gala, has asked Swift to cochair this year’s themed affair — “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology” — which will take place on Monday, May 2.
“I can't wait to see what she's gonna wear on May 2,” The First Monday in May star Wintour told Today’s Savannah Guthrie.
