Some, even, go down in history.
These famous movies are automatically more likable and enjoyable because they have our favourite couples in them and they are so irresistible and so utterly romantic, that everyone who believes in true love should definitely know them!
Which power couple is your favourite?
1. JACK AND ROSE
"Titanic", 1997
In Titanic, Jack and Rose are a couple that shouldn't be together due to their social class differences of the time and because they are from totally different backgrounds.
Rose is unhappy and doesn't love her fiancée, but it takes her a while to admit that her heart lies with Jack.
Once they decide to fight the rules of society to be together, they become a power couple who struggle through to the bitter end.
2. ROMEO AND JULIET
"Romeo + Juliet", 1996

They are focused on being together until the very end.
3. SANDY AND DANNY

However, when Sandy ends up moving to the same high school as Danny, things change dramatically as he tries to maintain his 'stud' image, despite Sandy's romance and passion for him.
4. BABY AND JOHNNY

5. CARRIE AND BIG
"Sex & The City", 1998 - 2010
In Sex & The City, Carrie and Big have a very on-and-off relationship, including a full-blown affair at one stage.
In the first movie they decide to get married but there's a shocking twist on the day of the wedding itself, which throws Carrie's world upside down.
In the second movie, they're back together but face trouble once again as realise marriage is a lot harder than they thought and requires compromise.
Even so, the two of them push through thick and thin together and become an amazing power couple.
6. SAM AND MOLLY
"Ghost", 1990
In Ghost, Sam and Molly are deeply in love with one another until one day, coming back home from a late-night movie, tragedy strikes.
Sam becomes a ghost quite early on in the movie as the plot is about him trying to protect Molly and keep her safe from danger as nasty people threaten her safety.

7. KAT AND PATRICK
"10 Things I Hate About You", 1999
In 10 Things I Hate About You, Kat and Patrick couldn't be more different and don't exactly start off as a couple in the most honest and genuine way.

These two strong characters carry on, through good times and bad, to become a very likable couple together.
8. NOAH AND ALLIE
'The Notebook", 2004
In The Notebook, Noah and Allie are not a popular couple as far as their families are concerned due to different social classes and the pressure from society to marry someone of 'equal wealth' to theirs.
Even so, they make a point of being together to prove that it can last.
Although not a couple all the way through the movie, they're constantly finding their way back to each other and grow old together as they continue to love each other.
9. CHER AND JOSH
"Clueless", 1995
In Clueless, Cher is a highly selective teenage girl who would rather be single than with a boy her age who she's not all that keen on.
Cher keeps her standards high, waiting and hoping that true love will find its way into her life.
Little does she know, it already has and it ends up being right in front of her for so much of the movie
!
It's only towards the end that she suddenly realises this, but luckily it's not too late to grab it with both hands and hold on tight.
