When it comes to creating a masterpiece, many people believe that paint or pastels are the best materials for bringing beautiful images to life. But Brandon McConnell knows that all you really need are some old magazine pages, a bowl, and something you can probably find in your garage.

Spray paint is most famously used for creating graffiti, but even those of us who don’t consider ourselves street artists can find plenty of uses for it. For example, you can use it to completely transform a boring mirror into a true work of art! But what Brandon does with his spray paint is truly mind-blowing…and what’s even crazier is that he does it all in under a minute.

I’ve seen people create spray paint art before. Just like this guy who creates a spooky Halloween scene using the unconventional material, a huge part of the appeal for these creations is just watching how they’re made. The final results are obviously spectacular, but let’s be honest — we wouldn’t be nearly as impressed with them if we didn’t see the simple-yet-unbelievable techniques that are used to create them. I would have thought that Brandon’s work of art would have taken days, not seconds!

I had to watch this video over and over again to truly appreciate how spectacular this painting was. There’s no doubt that even though Brandon is a different kind of painter, he’s really amazing at what he does!
