First ever 3D Green Printer Prints living organic things

Gardeners can now take their work to the next level with this first ever 3D Printer that can print actual living organic things. It’s called project PrintGREEN, designed by students at the University of Maribor in Slovenia.

The “ink” in the 3D Printer is a combination of soil, seeds, and water which can be designed to print in any shape or letter and let it grow green in time with the proper care. The goal of the project was to unite art, technology and nature. We think that is exactly what this does and we can’t wait to see what creative minds will do with it.
