Cool Wood Sculptures made from Discarded Tree Trunks

South-korean artist Jae-Hyo Lee created these cool wood sculptures from discarded tree trunks and branches. He makes artworks with materials around him that he can manipulate. Usually those materials are from nature.

To achieve this smooth one piece looking sculpture he uses different techniques, like engulfing each piece in flames until the wood is charred black, then he polish certain spots smooth and bright, revealing the wood layer underneath it. The result are these stunning wood sculptures..
