New York based photographer Adrian Mueller began his career studying architectural engineering. But he was drawn to photography because of the similarities in both fields: clean lines, concise structures and how light reflects off surfaces. time in japan further influenced his creative approach through the concepts of craftsmanship, simplicity and reducing everything to its essence.

In his series of abstracts, he was focussed on highlighting the interactions of common ingredients that are often overlooked, and generally not immediately appreciated. by focusing on the details that we usually neither see nor recognize when we cook and eat, hestrives to show the beauty of small things.
