BYU Men’s Chorus Performs Stunning Rendition Of “Nearer, My God, To Thee”

How much time and effort they’ve been putting into this song

How many singers there were onstage?
This awe-inspiring video is guaranteed to send chills up and down your spine! This amazing group of singers begins with 10 young men singing the famous hymnal tune “Nearer, My God, To Thee,” but by the end of the song, we lost count of how many singers there were onstage!

The men of Brigham Young University prove themselves to be just as passionate about their faith and just as vocally talented as the school’s all-female a cappella chorus.

The song begins slow and smooth; 10 men stand onstage with a large darkness behind them. As they begin to perform, the man in the middle really begins to show how incredible of a singer he is.

This man could easily end up on American Idol or The Voice in a heartbeat, but when you see how in tune he is with his brothers, you’ll easily see why he’s decided to stay!

These men all work together with such perfection that it becomes obvious how much time and effort they’ve been putting into this song. Every second, every moment is so beautifully interwoven with the next, they’re almost as in synch as the Marine Corps silent drill team!
