This Tiny Dog Waited Patiently To Be Adopted

After being dropped off at a Los Angeles Animal shelter, Winston the dog waited patiently for a new family to adopt him. Knowing what a beautiful family pet he’d make, the shelter teamed up with Waggytail Rescue to bring the 2-year-old dog to the East Coast where there would be a quicker chance for him to find a forever home.

Waggytail Rescue’s mission is to save dogs and get them adopted quickly.

Thanks to their amazing volunteers, dogs are given a second chance at a better life. For Winston, he was transported from LA to the waiting arms of foster homes and adopters in New York City. He boarded a flight with his volunteer chaperon Leticia as they traveled from LAX to JFK.

“He is an absolute beautiful little pup and deserved a good, loving home,” Leticia said.

Not long after landing in New York, Winston was adopted after one family spotted his Petfinder profile and fell in love. He is now living happily with his forever family in Staten Island.

This was Winston soon after he was rescued. Just look at that face!

He stayed with his LA foster mom, Holly, for a while until he was ready to head to the East Coast to find his forever home.

Thanks to his volunteer chaperon Leticia, Winston was transported from Los Angeles to New York City.

"Once in our seat, I placed him in his carrier under the seat in front of me, and he basically slept the entire way!" Leticia said.

Thanks to their amazing volunteers, Winston was given a second chance at a better life.

Not long after landing in New York, Winston was adopted and is now living happily with his forever family in Staten Island.

"Our family dog of 15 years passed away, and we were devastated, so my daughter and I decided to adopt Winston. It was the best decision!" said Judy. "Winston truly adopted us!"
