Lauren Tate and the Bankrupt Brothers NAIL Led Zeppelin's 'Whole Lotta Love'

The U.K.-based singer was first discovered by Pete Thompson

This great big voice
Former Led Zeppelin lead singer Robert Plant may want to reconsider those reunion rumors. He could have competition in the form of a petite Lauren Tate, just 15 years old at the time of this video. Tate, backed up on guitars by the Bankrupt Brothers in 2012, absolutely stuns with her performance of the band's song "Whole Lotta Love," a U.S. Billboard Top 5 hit in 1970.

Fans and critics obviously agree on Tate's powerful vocals. She thanks fans for social media hits following the clip. "Despite her diminutive stature, Tate boasted a voice guttural and heavy hitting enough to match Brody Dalle or Courtney Love at their most vicious," reads a review from Blue Corner Stone Camden Rocks Festival on the page of Tate's band, Hands Off Gretel.

The U.K.-based singer was first discovered by Pete Thompson of Flat Wave studio when she was only 14, according to her SoundCloud page. Hands Off Gretel plans to release new music in June of 2016.

What do you think of this great big voice taking on one of rock's most popular songs? Think she's ready for a whole lotta success? Pass it on and see what your friends think.
