Beautiful Tribute to the Fascinating New York City Dancers
Delicate photographies presenting dancers in all their glory of movement
To acknowledge and give some tokens of gratitude to the dancers of New York, Ken Browar and Deborah Ory from Greenpoint, Brooklyn, decided to make a series of delightful and delicate photographies presenting dancers in all their glory of movement. Ken is a beauty photographer amazed by the dance world, and Deborah dances since she was seven. Together they invested a piece of their lifework into this wonderful project to capture the everlasting fluidity of dance movement. Often, the effort dancers put into their work can not be seen – there are hours and hours of practice behind the fragile shapes. This photo tribute called the New York City Dance Project at least acknowledgesthe dancers of New York.
