Amazing 3D Renditions of Calligraphy

Is there anything more beautiful than calligraphy? How about three-dimensional calligraphy. Turkish electrical engineer and graphic designer, Tolga Girgin, uses his calligraphic talent to create amazing pieces of art that fool the eye to look 3D. It is truly an interesting use of perspective and shading to make it seem like his work actually jumps off the page.

In an interview that was held with Calligraphy Masters, Girgin stated that he seriously began practicing calligraphy around two years ago, but has been drawing sketches since his childhood. Now, he tries to practice around 45 minutes a day. Clearly, the practice pays off.
