Fashion Designer Creates 3D Art Using Only Tulle
Vibrant magenta and blue tulle to build something quite extraordinary
Tulle is usually something you associate with little girls and ballerina dresses. But artist Benjamin Shine has used tulle and his fashion design knowledge and techniques to create gorgeous 3D art. In his project entitled ”The Dance”, he uses vibrant magenta and blue tulle to build something quite extraordinary. The male and female faces you see in the photos below are made from layers upon layers of this malleable material and suspended from the ceiling. The ballet dancers are especially impressive, looking like they are real people who got trapped in a net of tulle in one eternal position.
